About
Artisha Todd Gregg, a native New Yorker was born and raised on Long Island. She graduated from North Babylon High School before moving south to attend college at UNC-Charlotte where she earned her B.S. in Criminal Justice and her BA in Communications with a concentration in Public Advocacy. She went to law school at Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA. She fell in love with the Tidewater area and decided to make Hampton Roads her home and build her career here.
Before becoming a founding partner of Rice & Gregg, P.C., she began her career in the Portsmouth Public Defender’s Office where she primarily worked on the Juvenile and Domestic Relations (JDR) team. She then went to the Newport News Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office where she was on the JDR team. After seven years prosecuting in Newport News, she then joined the Hampton Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office where she was on the Drugs, Guns, and Gangs Team. She prosecuted approximately 13 murders her first year. After that she went to Portsmouth’s Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office where she was the Deputy Commonwealth’s Attorney over the JDR team.
As an active member of the Gamma Delta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. she frequently participates in outreach activities in the community. She is also a proud partner of Mount Global Fellowship of Churches and currently attends and serves at The Mount Portsmouth.
Artisha was named a Top Lawyer of Costal Virginia in 2022.
Outside of her legal career, Artisha enjoys life with her husband, a military veteran, and their two wonderful children.
